Kunratice
Kunratice is a quiet residential location belonging to the Prague 4 district. For several decades now it has been one of the most sought-after Prague residential locations, especially for its unique atmosphere and location in the middle of greenery, directly adjacent to the Kunratice Forest. The village has a centuries-long history and Kunratice was first mentioned in 1287 as „Chunratitz“ – a village with a fortress.
Kunratice has quality schools and nurseries in the immediate area, including Nový Porg and Prague British International school as well as many recreational and sporting opportunities making it an ideal place for families with children. In the district there is the famous pond Šeberák, which is the sixth largest body of water in the city of Prague and is being used for recreational purposes. The chateau park and the historic fortress are popular places as well.
The neighborhood offers all social amenities. Shops including the famous „Kunratická stodola“, restaurants and other services as well as good transport lines to the centre of Prague. Within a short commuting distance you will find quality medical centres such as IKEM, Thomayer Hospital and one of the largest shopping centres Westfield Chodov.
