A brief report from the 2025 Salone del Mobile. The annual design festival in Milan, Italy.

Last year, Czech brands made a great impression at this most prestigious international design festival, where Lasvit won the Fuorisalone Award for its Re/Creation installation presenting relief glass panels by designer Maxim Velčovský.

This year, Czech design returned to the Fiera Milano Rho exhibition grounds and focused on glass products, which is a field where Czech designer belong among the very best in the world.

Among the 2,100 exhibitors from 37 countries, over 310,000 visitors from all over the world could find presentations of Czech brands, such as DECHEM, BOMMA, GLAZ BRIDGE, KIMCHI, LASVIT, PRECIOSA, SAN SOUCI, etc.

Classic interior design was represented by talented designer JIŘÍ KREJČIŘÍK’s unique furniture, lighting units and other small items. DECHEM presented, among other things, its vases, Sedimenta shelf system and wall glass installations.BOMMA lit up its exposition with an installation called “Fragments Reborn,” featuring lights made from upcycled pieces of broken glass, and its technical lighting unit called Beam was world-premiered at the exhibition.
