"A dream come true." Prague hosted the second largest LeadingRE Global Symposium in history
10. 10. 2025
From October 7 to 9, 2025, Prague became the center of the global real estate world. The LeadingRE Global Symposium 2025 was held in the Czech capital for the first time ever and attracted 180 real estate professionals from 32 countries around the world – from Mexico, Canada, and Japan to South Africa. The event took place at the Fairmont Hotel, which was transformed into a meeting place for leaders of the global real estate market for three days.
The Prague edition was also one of the largest in history, specifically the second largest in the history of this prestigious event – right after the symposium in Portugal, which took place shortly after the COVID-19 pandemic.
The three-day program was themed "Bridges to the Future: Global Insight, Local Impact" and offered a diverse combination of lectures, panel discussions, workshops, and social gatherings. The topics that resonated most were the impact of artificial intelligence and data on the real estate market, sustainability, global economic trends, and building brands that can maintain trust and emotional connections with clients across cultures. Participants also addressed issues of leadership, cross-market collaboration, and knowledge sharing within the LeadingRE international network.
The speakers included leading figures from the global real estate industry. Dr. Marci Rossell presented how global economic trends are shaping local markets, while Adam Challis from JLL discussed the real estate sector's response to geopolitical changes and the advent of generative artificial intelligence. Paul Boomsma, President and CEO of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World®, spoke about strengthening trust, leadership, and sharing experiences across the network. Michael Saunders, founder and CEO of Michael Saunders & Company, spoke about the role of leaders.
The domestic real estate scene was represented by Filip Šejvl, managing partner of Philip & Frank, which was the proud host of the Prague edition. In his interview with Chris Dietz, President of Global Operations at LeadingRE, he said: "Last year, I stood on stage in Budapest and expressed my wish that this prestigious event would one day take place in Prague. And today I am standing here again – this time with great joy that this dream has come true."
In his speech, Filip Šejvl went on to present Prague as a city with extraordinary historical value, stability, and low property taxes. He emphasized that the Czech real estate market offers attractive investment opportunities and scope for international cooperation.
The program also included a property tour of Prague's premium projects. Among other things, participants visited a spacious apartment by the river in the historic center, a residence by a park in one of the most sought-after neighborhoods, and an apartment with a panoramic view of Prague Castle. It was this apartment that aroused extraordinary interest and became a symbol of the attractiveness of the Prague market for international clients.
This year's symposium confirmed that the Czech real estate market is an integral part of the global map. The meeting also showed that Prague has the potential to become an important real estate center in the region and a place for deepening international relations and investments.
