We are putting up for sale a fully furnished Paris-style apartment (3+1 rooms) of the area of 131m2. It is part of a building with an elevator, just a few dozens of meters from Wenceslas Square.
The main entrance door to the apartment is secured by strongbox system safety locks. The apartment consists of an entrance hall, living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a utility room and a small balcony. The second bedroom (study) is furnished with a sofa-bed (double bed) and foldaway ottoman (single bed) for occasional visitors. The highest quality materials are used in the unit; doors and some windows have sandblasted glass panes with a pattern, and there are Austrian crystal chandeliers and tailor-made furniture.
The apartment has undergone complete, thorough and costly reconstruction under the supervision of designer Marcela Bartáková, which took a year. An article about this apartment was published in the “Dekor” section of Marianne (February 2017 issue). The original features of the apartment which have been preserved are its high ceilings, solid oak wood flooring and windows, which were renovated. As part of the reconstruction, underfloor heating with thermoregulation, connected to the flat’s own source of heat, was installed. The wood flooring in these rooms was replaced with luxurious large-format Italian floor tiles. New power and water distribution systems were installed in the flat.
The elegant Paris-like impression of the apartment is contributed to by details, such as decorative floor, wall and ceiling laths and rosettes as well as the original columns in the bay. Its gracefulness is intensified by unobtrusive silk wallpapers in decorative frames, wall lights and illumination of pictures. The atmosphere is completed by heating covers in the same style as the furniture. For painting, the designer chose elegant timeless shades of grey, which impart a sense of nobility to the interior. There is a built-in surround system in the living room and the pleasant atmosphere of the place is underlined by a tailor-made illuminated bookcase and a faux fireplace with a functional electric insert. The kitchen with a new, tailor-made unit and a technical stone worktop, is fully equipped with built-in appliances by AEG and Baumatic. It includes an elegant dinette seating 4 people. For the overall impression, the designer put emphasis on all details, such as switches and sockets.
The flat’s main attraction is its luxurious bathroom with Italian tiles and sanitary facilities, including a relaxation zone with an armchair and a lamp. What draws most attention in the bathroom is the uniquely designed bath with legs. The bathroom walls have 3D tiles with a flower made from small stones.
The flat is furnished very tastefully, luxuriously and in the timeless spirit of France.
