Sunny Canadian International School (SCIS)
The Sunny Canadian International School was established in 2002 and offers a bilingual Czech-English education program. The school has a kindergarten, preschool, elementary, middle and high school to provide a bilingual education from kindergarten to graduation, all under one roof. An entrance exam is required for those who want to enter high school. The school is in touch with Canadian schools and plans to participate in exchange programmes and invite Canadians to Prague. The representation of both languages in SCIS is equal. SCIS is located about 16 km southeast of Prague in a town called Jesenice (20 mins by car). Getting to the school by public transport is quite difficult. First you must take the metro line C to the station Opatov and then transfer to buses 326 or 327. You can expect to pay an average annual fee of 6,690 EUR (174,000 CZK).
